Parkview Apartments First Floor Renovation

All Prime Bidders must be registered as Plan Holders on QuestCDN.

The General Scope of Work for this project will consist of, but not be limited to, interior demolition,new partitions, new acoustic ceiling tile and gypsum board ceilings, new lighting and electricaldevices, new security desk, relocation of existing doors and hardware, painting, and new floor finishes. Work shall be phased, completing the work in the west (office) wing so that necessary facilities currently on the east side can be relocated before work begins on the east wing.

Performance period to be 180 days.

Pre-Bid Conference

A pre-bid conference will be held on site at 10:30 AM (CT), March 12, 2024 at the project site to allow

prospective bidders to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. Although attendance at

the Pre-bid Conference is not mandatory, participation is strongly encouraged.

Bid Due Date

Bids will be received until 2:30 PM (CT) Thursday, April 4, 2024 and may be submitted one of two ways:

1. Electronic submission through QuestCDN (non-refundable $42.00 fee applies).

2. Hand-delivery of a physical copy to our offices at 3520 Page Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63106.

The SLHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in any bid,

to advertise for new bids, or to proceed to do the work by other means, as may be determined to be in the best interest of the Authority.

The Authority intends to award the company with the lowest responsive and responsible bid a fixed price contract for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision required to complete the work set out in this request for bid and the contract documents. The work is to be funded by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the contract administered by the St. Louis Housing Authority. HUD reserves the right to approve the contractor selected by the Authority. Retail sales tax should not be included in your quote schedule of values, alternates, and fixed unit pricing. A tax letter will be provided to the successful bidder.
